American Dental Association Launches Podcast Program for Public

The podcast is a new resource for people's health information online and will be available on iTunes and the ADA website ADA.org. The podcasts feature such topics as dental health, teeth whitening, dental anxiety overcomes dental care for children and dental care while traveling to other countries. "We have a lot of fun with this, but in the heart of each episode is a good clinical and scientific information to help people in their oral health to maintain," said Sahota Ruchi Nijjar, DDS, a practicing dentist in Freemont, California, who co-hosts the show with Eric Grove, DDS, who graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry net this year.
The first episode of "Straight from the Mouth" focuses on the victory of dental anxiety. "Films and TV shows make fun of dental anxiety," said Dr. Grove. "But the people who suffer from it can not be the consequences of neglecting their teeth and gums, suffering and it is no joke. In our podcast, we joke a bit, but we also offer practical tips to help people overcome anxiety . Regular dental care is important, and dentists to make their patients' visits as comfortable as possible.
